h) Throttle hold function
In the flight model programmes, you may choose a throttle hold function. This is activated by the "Throttle Hold" switch
(figure 1, item 14). With "Throttle Hold", you may choose the basic speed (e.g. idle speed for combustion motors) or
"motor off" (for electro dives), which is independent from the position of the throttle control (figure 1, item 7) and thus
enables e.g. switching off the motor at once. In addition to the speed control, all other functions remain fully controlla-
ble.
To choose this function, first switch on the transmitter. Press the "UP" and
"DN" buttons at once five times The display shows the screen indicated in
figure 26.
With the buttons "INC" or "DEC", you can adjust the values between -20
and 20. The standard value is 0.
i) V-tail mixer
For models with V-tails, the rudder and elevator controls are achieved by two servos each. For this, a suitable mixer is
installed to mix the rudder and elevator functions in the right proportions. The standard value for the mixers V1, V3 and
V4 is 50, for V2 -50.
To choose this function, first switch on the transmitter. Press the "UP" and
"DN" buttons at once Use the "UP" and "DN" buttons to select mixers V1 to
V4.
With the buttons "INC" or "DEC", you can adjust the values between -100
and 100.
V1 = Mixing proportion of elevator for servo at CH2
V2 = Mixing proportion of rudder for servo at CH2
V3 = Mixing proportion of elevator for servo at CH4
V4 = Mixing proportion of rudder for servo at CH4
For modes 3 or 4, the delta wind mixer must be programmed
for a V-tail model. In this case, the mixer "d1" must be set to a
negative value and "d4" to a positive one.
