m) Setting the gas curve
With the gas curve, you can determine how much performance the engine gives off with respect to the position of the
control stick for the pitch. The gas curve has 5 points that can be set independently of each other.
Point "CN1" means the throttle preselection for normal flight for throttle and pitch control stick (figure 1, item 7) = 0
(control stick pushed all the way downwards). Point "CN5" means maximum power (control stick pushed all the way
upwards)
The other points indicate interim values (e.g. 2 = 25 %, 3 = 50 %, 4 = 75 % of the control stick position). The normal gas
curve is active if the "idle UP" switch (fig. 1, item 8) is set to "normal" (forward). You can also chose an additional gas
curve for the operating mode "Idle Up" (e.g. aerobatics, switch is switched to the read).
• Point 1 of the gas curve = control stick throttle/pitch pulled all the way back
• Point 2 of the gas curve = control stick throttle/pitch between pulled all the way back and in centre position
• Point 3 of the gas curve = control stick throttle/pitch in centre position
• Point 4 of the gas curve = control stick throttle/pitch between pushed all the way up and in centre position
• Point 5 of the gas curve = control stick throttle/pitch pushed all the way up
