To sensitively correct the flight attitude and to carry out specific changes of direction in normal flight attitude, short and
limited movements of the control stick on the transmitter are sufficient.
Once the desired flight height is reached, reduce the motor performance or switch off the motor and initiate the first
curve.

c) Curve Flight

Curves are initiated with the rudder; the model angles to the side. If the model has reached the desired inclination,
the rudder is returned into centre position. Now, the curve can be flown at a constant altitude by gently pulling the
elevator control stick.
When the model flies in the desired direction, a quick regulation of the rudder into the opposite direction will bring the
model back to a horizontal position and also return the elevator to the centre position. Try not to take too narrow curves
in the beginning and observe even flight height even in curves.
Important!
The rudder efficiency depends on the deflection path at the transmitter, as well as the motor performance
or flight speed. The higher the motor or flight speed, the more strongly will the model react to control com-
mands.
Attention!
When flying, always observe sufficient minimum flight speed. With reduced flight speed, pulling on the
elevator control lever too much will cause the model to slow down and top forwards over the fuselage top or
to the side over a wing.
Therefore, fly at a sufficient safety height in the beginning in order to allow yourself to get used to the stee-
ring attitude of the model. Do not fly too far in order to be able to clearly evaluate flight attitude at all times.
d) Trimming in the Model
If your model tends to drift to one direction in straight flight, correct the neutral position of the corresponding rudder
by trimming in flight. After touch-down, always find the reason for which trimming was required, and correct it. For
this, measure your model (e.g. wing angle to the elevator, etc.) again and correct according to the measurements as
far as possible.
Also check the centre of gravity, see chapter 9. b).
The centre of gravity should be set mainly by skillful placement of the flight battery and the receiver and connection
cables. The addition of trimming lead is possible, of course, but will impair the flight properties by increasing the total
flight weight.
