Safety and Control Symbols
The safety alert symbol indicates a potential personal injury
hazard. A safety symbol may be used to represent the
type of hazard. WARNING indicates a hazard which, if not
avoided, could result in death or serious injury. CAUTION
indicates a hazard which, if not avoided, could result in
minor or moderate injury. NOTICE indicates information
considered important, but not hazard-related.

Never spray yourself, others, animals, power
sources, or the unit itself.
This machine is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless supervised
and given instruction concerning safe operation
and understanding of hazards involved.

WARNING!
• This machine has been designed for use with
the cleaning agent supplied or recommended
by the manufacturer. The use of other cleaning
agents or chemicals may adversely affect the
safety of the machine.
• High pressure jets can be dangerous if subject to
misuse. The jet must not be directed at persons,
live electrical equipment or the machine itself.
• Do not use the machine within range of persons
unless they wear protective clothing.
• Do not direct the jet against yourself or others
in order to clean clothes or foot-wear.
• Risk of explosion - Do not spray flammable liquids.
• High pressure cleaners shall not be used by
children or untrained personnel.
• High pressure hoses, fittings and couplings
are important for the safety of the machine.
Use only hoses, fittings and couplings
recommended by the manufacturer.
• To ensure machine safety, use only original
spare parts from the manufacturer or approved
by the manufacturer
• Water that has flown through backflow
preventers is considered to be non-potable.
• Do not use the machine if important parts of the
machine are damaged, e.g. safety devices, high
pressure hoses, trigger gun.
• Where no ignition key and no battery exist, the
disconnection can be acheived by equivalent means.
• Do not use combustion engine powered
machines indoors unless adequate ventilation is
assessed by national labour authorities.
• Ensure that any exhaust emissions are not in
the vicinity of air intakes.
• Incorrect fuels shall not be used as they may
prove hazardous.
• Throttle control lever shall be in STOP ( )
position during cleaning or maintenance and
when replacing parts.

A warning tag is provided on your unit to inform you of
potential safety hazards. If the tag becomes damaged
or illegible, replace it by contacting your local Briggs &
Stratton dealer to obtain a new one.
