ALARM DIAL LIST

PMS-500P has 8 alarm sensor ports. You can register
up to 20 remote site numbers for one port. When an
alarm is input in a port, the system automatically
switches to the image for the port and automatically
dials the appropriate registered number.

Select the port number (PORT 1 – 8). The
following screen appears.

ALARM NAME: Displays the alarm name.
For details on the alarm names, see "PORT1 –
PORT8" (page 2-12 (GB)).
SITE NAME: Displays the remote site name when
you enter the DIAL LIST NO. If you do not
register the remote site name in the DIAL LIST,
the remote site name does not appear and the
ALARM DIAL does not function.
DIAL LIST NO: Register the remote site to be
dialed. Select a remote site from the DIAL LIST
number (1 – 128).

SEND PICTURE: Select the quality of the image to
be sent. Each time you press b, the selection
changes as follows.
FINE n NORMAL n FAST n 4CIF (send one
still image) n 4CIF...(send consecutive still
images) n Blank (send an image with the CIF of
the QTBL in the PICTURE QUALITY menu)

Notes
• You need to register the remote site name in the
DIAL LIST. If you do not register the remote site
name, the ALARM DIAL does not function even if
you enter the DIAL LIST number.
• If you enter the DIAL LIST number that has been
registered its name as "###" in the DIAL LIST, the
unit redials the numbers that has previously been
registered. The interval of the redial is set in REDIAL
in the TIMER menu. The factory preset value is three
minutes.

AUTO DIAL

You can register a remote site to be dialed
automatically 60 seconds after the DIAL LIST has
been displayed.
If you do not want to use the AUTO DIAL function,
press any key within 60 seconds after the DIAL LIST
has been displayed.

SITE NAME: Displays the remote site name to be
dialed.
AUTO DIAL: Select ON to use the AUTO DIAL
function.
DIAL LIST NO: Register the remote site to be
dialed. Select a remote site from the DIAL LIST
number (1 – 128).
Note
If the telephone number in the selected list number has
not been registered in the DIAL LIST, it will not be
dialed.
