PinP

Select the position of the local site image that you are
sending in the inset window, or you can turn off the
inset window. The following table lists the positions.
Setting Meaning
The inset window is displayed in the upper right
corner.
The inset window is displayed in the lower right
corner.
The inset window is displayed in the lower left
corner.
The inset window is displayed in the upper left
corner.
OFF The inset window is not displayed.

MODE SWITCH

Select the internal memory function for sending/
receiving the images. Each time you press b, the
selection is changed as follows.
TOUR n 4CIF n QUAD
Normally, select TOUR.
TOUR: Select TOUR when you send camera tour.
You can also send/receive a still image. When you
use the PRE/POST ALARM REC function, the
system assigns top priority to it if an alarm is
input.
4CIF: Select 4CIF when you send or receive one still
image. You can send/receive a still image even if
the remote site has selected QUAD. When you use
the PRE/POST ALARM REC function, the
system assigns top priority to it if an alarm is
input. If the PRE/POST ALARM REC functions
when an alarm is input, you cannot display the
still image even if you have selected 4CIF.

QUAD: Select QUAD when you send the image split
into four windows. When you select QUAD, the
MODE SWITCH of the another site must be set to
TOUR. If the PRE/POST ALARM REC functions
when an alarm is input, you cannot use the QUAD
DISPLAY function even if you have selected
QUAD.
Note
When you select 4CIF for MODE SWITCH, you have
to select H261/CIF for PICTURE QUALITY below.

You can change the resolution and set the quality of
the image.

VIDEO MODE: Select the resolution (H261/CIF,
H261/QCIF, H263/CIF or H263/QCIF). When
you select 4CIF for MODE SWITCH, you have to
select H261/CIF.
QTBL: Select the quality of the image to be sent.
Each time you press b, the selection is changed as
follows.
FINE n NORMAL n FAST n 4CIF n 4CIF...
FINE: Gives picture quality more preference
than picture motion.
NORMAL: setting between FINE and FAST.
FAST: Gives picture motion more preference
than picture quality.
4CIF: Sends one still image.
4CIF...: Sends consecutive still images.
You can set the QTBL value for FINE, NORMAL
and FAST (01 – 30).
Notes
• The smaller the QTBL value, the higher the
resolution. The movement also becomes less smooth.
The larger the QTBL value, the lower the resolution.
The movement also becomes smoother.
• If you select 4CIF or 4CIF... for QTBL and MODE
SWITCH has been set to QUAD, the image quality is
as NORMAL regardless of the QTBL setting remains
as it was.
