Before you use the Monitoring Codec, register the
terminal ID, the site name and password.

management. Up to 10 characters can be registered.

SITE NAME

The site name registered at your own site is displayed
in the remote site monitor during communication. Up
to 20 characters can be registered.

PASSWORD MENU
You can set a password to change a SETTING menu
item (up to 15 characters long).
PASSWORD COMMUNICATION
You can set a password to start a connection (up to 15
characters long).
This password is also used when you call the remote
site from the DIAL KEY screen.
For details on the DIAL KEY, see page 3-2 (GB).
PASSWORD CHECK: Select ON to set a password
for connection, otherwise select OFF.
INCOMING CHECK: Select ON to receive a call
from a subscriber only listed in the INCOMING
LIST.
For details on the INCOMING LIST, see page 2-7
(GB).
LDN CHECK: Select ON to check the remote site
number against your local directory number
(MSN). If you have trouble receiving calls, set to
OFF.
ANSWERING: Select AUTO to receive an
incoming call automatically. Select MANUAL to
receive it manually.
If you select MANUAL, the message "There is an
incoming video call..." appears on the monitor.
Press ENTER to receive that call. Press B to
cancel the connection before connecting.
CONNECT: Select 1B not to receive an ISDN
incoming call of the 2B-channel.
1B OPTION: Select DISCONNECT to disconnect
an ISDN incoming call of the 2B-channel if you
select 1B for CONNECT above.
