10.1 IRRIGATION LINE MAINTENANCE

Sterile irrigation line
The disposable irrigation lines supplied by SATELEC
The reuse of a disposable irrigation line may result in contamination of your patients for which you are liable.
Do not attempt to resterilize disposable irrigation lines. Do not attempt to modify irrigation lines.
Sterilizable irrigation line
Refer to the instructions delivered with the equipment.
To service, clean, decontaminate and sterilize the sterilizable irrigation line, refer to the specific technical
maintenance guide.

10.2 CONTRA-ANGLE MAINTENANCE

Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for your contra-angle.

10.3 ROTARY INSTRUMENT MAINTENANCE

Please refer to the manufacturer's instructions for your instruments (burs, drills, etc.)
Materials:

detergent, Damp
cloth, Alcohol
Materials: Disinfectant tested and approved with demonstrable bactericidal, fungicidal
and virucidal properties.
Method: wipe with a cloth slightly dampened with disinfectant products.
Materials: Soft cloth Drying carefully with a soft and clean cloth all the components.
The micromotor requires no maintenance. Check at least every 6 months the cable of
the micromotor. In case of deterioration, it must be replaced at an authorized service
center.
Before sterilizing the autoclavable approved items, put it in an envelope of Kraft-
Polypropylene. The bagging can maintain the sterility of the material for an extended
period of up to 30 days if stored in a dry and temperature stable environment. Double
bagging will increase the time of sterility maintenance twofold.
Materials: Steam sterilizer according to EN 13060, envelopes of Kraft-Polypropylene.
Parameters: 134°C (273°F) per 5 minutes (2.1-2.2 bars; 30.88 psi).
Temp +5°C/+65°C (+41°F/+149°F) RH < 20-95% non condensing.
To remove dirt or traces of drugs on the surface, wipe with a
cloth slightly dampened with water, neutral detergent or alcohol.
Be sure to remove any dirt and residue from all components.
