installed and prepared for use as described in chapter IV.
Certain types of mobile telecommunication devices such as mobile telephones are likely to interfere with the I-

This device has been tested and found to comply with the emissions requirements of IEC 60601-1-2.
These requirements provide reasonable protection against harmful electromagnetic interference in a
typical medical installation. However, high levels of radio-frequency (RF) emissions from electrical
devices, such as cellular phones, may disrupt the performance of this device. To mitigate disruptive
electromagnetic interference, position this device away from RF transmitters and other sources of
electromagnetic energy.
Risks from
influenced by electromagnetic fields. Patients and users must inquire about implanted systems before
using the motors and check the use. Do not bring the motors close to the systems. Take suitable
emergency precautions and immediately react to any changes in health.
Solution
Try to turn off the motor by pressing the [Motor ON/OFF] button on the keyboard or by using
the foot pedal.
If the motor will not turn off, immediately discontinue use of the device and contact

Verify that the voltage matches the power supply. If it does, try to switch the central unit off
and then on again, or connect the device to another electrical outlet.
Solution
Disconnect power to the central unit. Check to see if the rotor of the peristaltic pump rotates
correctly and is not blocked by any internal or external objects. Remove any visible blockage if
possible. Otherwise, contact
