LAN Interface (option)

LAN allows communication with devices using Telnet protocol.
Following equipment is required:

OCM160 precision DC calibrator with LAN, USB, IEEE488 bus option

Personal Computer (or other controlling device) with LAN interface

LAN cable
The LAN interface must be selected from the System menu (MENU->Interface->Active bus).
LAN settings are accessible from System menu MENU->Interface->LAN Settings path:
DHCP
IP Address
Subnet mask
Default gateway 255.255.255.255
Port number
Host name
If DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) is enabled, the IP Address and all necessary
settings are done automatically and connection in Telnet protocol is carried-on via "Host
name" and "Port number".
Otherwise the IP address, Subnets mask and Default gateway should be properly set. In this
case the connection goes via "IP Address" and "Port number".
Connection to the device using Microsoft Telnet terminal with DHCP option enabled:
