and Storage

Keep ell nuts, bdita end screws tight to he sum the equip-
ment is in safe working condition.
•
Never store the equipment with petrol in the tank inside
a building where fumes may reach an open flame or
spark.
•
Allow the engine to coot before storing in any enclo-
sure.
•
To reducethe fire hazard,keepthe engine,silencer, bat-
tery compartmentand petrolstoragearea free of grass,
leaves,or excessivegrease.
•
Chock the grass catcher frequentlyfor wear or date-
rioration.
•
Replace wom or damaged parts for safety.
If the fuel tank has to be drained, this should be done
outdoors.
•
Onmulti-bladed machines, t akecareesrotating oneblade
can cause other bladesto rotate.
•
When machineisto beparked,storedor leftunattended,
lowerthecutting meansunlessa positive mechanical l ock
is used.
WARNING: Always disconnect spark plug wire and
place wire where it cannot contact spark plug in
order to prevent accidental starting when setting
up, transporting,
adjusting or making repairs.
