5.6 Optional: connecting an alarm
messenger
Materials required
 Slotted screwdriver
Connection cable (not included in the scope of

delivery) with maximum cable cross-section of 0.75

 Alarm messenger: Alarm lamp or alarm siren (not
included in the scope of delivery)
The interface for the alarm messenger takes the form
of an electronic relay with a make contact. The power
supply for the alarm messenger must be provided
externally (maximum 30 V, 500 mA).

Procedure
1. Ensure that the alarm messenger is fitted.
2. Ensure that the connection cable is connected.
3. If required, fit the end of the wire with a cable end
sleeve.
