Basic safety information

Risk of fatal injury due to high voltages
In photovoltaic systems, voltages of U
currents of I = 800 A can occur. Attempting to work
DC
on the product and live components at these high
voltages and current strengths can prove fatal. When
performing work of this nature, please note that the
photovoltaic system's solar generator is always active
during daylight hours.
Before starting any work on electrical systems:
Disconnect the system

Ensure that it is secured against being switched

back on
Verify that the system is fully de-energised

 Earth and short-circuit the system
Cover or shield any adjacent live components

