4.3 Optional: Install the irradiation and
temperature sensor
Before installation, consider on which module you
will install the irradiation and temperature sensor.
The manufacturer recommends that the irradiation
and temperature sensor should be fitted to the PV
system module that receives the average amount of
solar energy. You have the option to install the
irradiation and temperature sensor with or without
the bracket (to be ordered separately).
Material damage due to incorrect installation
If the irradiation and temperature sensor is fitted
using the wrong screws to the module or frame, this
may result in damage to the device.
Only use the screws supplied


Procedure
1. Align the irradiation and temperature sensor
parallel to the surface of the module.
Material damage caused by a damaged pressure
compensating element
A damaged pressure compensating element may
allow moisture to accumulate in the irradiation and
temperature sensor.
Fit the cap for the pressure compensating element

2. Screw the irradiation and temperature sensor to
the frame using the M6 screw and washer.

The irradiation and temperature sensor is installed.
