2. Mount the two mounting rail bus connectors on
the CAN distributor.
3. Plug the power supply for the SmartConnect onto
the top-hat rail next to the CAN distributor.
Please note the following here:
Connect the power supply securely with the top-

hat rail
Material damage due to damaged wire strands
Damaged wire strands can break and heat up to more
than 100 °C. This results in a risk of fire.
Do not damage the wire strands

4. Strip the mains cable (6 mm)
5. Remove the isolation from the wires of the mains
cable (4 mm)
6. Attach cable end sleeves on the wires.
7. Loosen the cap screws of the screw terminals on
the power supply.
8. Insert the ends of the wires into the screw
terminals.
9. Tighten the connecting screws to a tightening
torque of 0.5 Nm.
10.Check that the screw terminals are held firmly in
place.
When using series terminals, note the following:
Do not reverse polarity

 Do not let the wires enter the fan
11.Connect the wires at the other end of the cable to
the mains cable power series terminal block.
