Fault
LED indicators do not light up.
The Sensor LED indicator does
not light up even though the
irradiation and temperature
sensor and supply voltage are
connected
After a short time, display goes
out and remains dark
Display is too light or too dark

selected language

Possible cause
– Interruption of the supply
voltage
– No or insufficient earthing
– Display switch-off time is too
short
– The brightness on the display
is set incorrectly
– Firewall in the router is
incorrectly configured
– Internet access incorrectly
configured
– If you change the language
setting of the BPT-M Touch
while the device is in
operation, diagrams that have
already been generated will
not be updated.
– Newly generated diagrams will
be in the newly selected
language.

Possible fault rectification
– Inspect power supply cable for
cable breaks (kink in cable,
untidy routing)
– Lead the thicker black strand
from the irradiation and
temperature sensor (used as
cable screen for sensor cable)
to a PE line. It is not possible to
connect this strand to the BPT-
M Touch.
– Check and, if necessary,
adjust the switch-off time in
the Settings/Screen submenu
– Check and, if necessary,
adjust the brightness in the
Settings/Screen submenu
– Enable port 80 (HTTP)
– Connect PC and check
whether it can establish an
internet connection. Configure
