Transport
No replacement or warranty claims shall be derived
for damages to the device resulting from improper
transport. If you are uncertain, contact Bosch Power
Tec GmbH before the transport.
Technicians or other employees of Bosch Power Tec
GmbH who are present shall not be responsible for
transport damage.
2.2

Intended use

The BPT-M Touch is designed to monitor photovoltaic
systems with connected central inverters with
integrated manufacturer's display. Any other use is
not considered intended use.
The BPT-M Touch must only be assembled and
installed according to the recognised specifications
(Specifications, p. 61).
2.3

Improper use

Any operation (use) of the BPT-M Touch beyond what
is described here is considered improper use.
The device must never be operated:
close to flammable materials, fire or in areas at risk

of explosion
in unventilated rooms

 in dirty rooms
in damp rooms

with any components other than those supplied by

the manufacturer
if cables and wires are defective

if the housing is damaged

if components are clearly damaged or defective

if the housing has been opened or a hole made in it

