Maximum length: 100 m
If you want to make sure and the router supports it,
the manufacturer recommends that the IP and Mac
address of the BPT-M Touch in the router are
permanently assigned to each other.
This will prevent the BPT-M Touch from being
assigned a new IP address whenever the PC is
restarted. The BPT-M Touch can then always be
accessed under the same IP address.
Connect the router with BPT-M Touch

Procedure
1. Plug one end of the network cable into the
Ethernet port of the BPT-M Touch (Overview of
connections below the display, p. 19).
2. Plug the other end of the network cable into the
Ethernet port on the router.
3. If a DHCP service is not available in the router:
Set the appropriate network address on the PC
(refer to the documentation for your PC operating
system).
Call up BPT-M Touch in the browser

Procedure
1. Start the browser on your PC.
2. In the browser address line, enter the IP address of
the BPT-M Touch (standard settings:
192.168.0.111) and confirm it.

The BPT-M Touch start menu appears in the browser
and you can query the data for your PV system in the
usual way.
