Prerequisites
IP address of the BPT-M Touch known (see

Information submenu)
Suitable network address set on the PC to be

connected (see operating system documentation)
Example (standard settings of the BPT-M Touch):
– IP address BPT-M Touch: 192.168.0.111
– Set the IP address on the PC: 192.168.0.100
– Set the subnet mask on the PC: 255.255.255.0
 Cat 5 crossover network cable or better present
Maximum length: 100 m
Connect the PC with the BPT-M Touch

Procedure
1. Plug one end of the network cable into the
Ethernet port of the BPT-M Touch (Overview of
connections below the display, p. 19).
2. Plug the other end of the network cable into the
Ethernet port on the PC.
Calling up BPT-M Touch in the browser

Procedure
1. Start the browser on your PC.
2. In the browser address line, enter the IP address of
the BPT-M Touch (standard settings:
192.168.0.111) and confirm the IP address.
■
The BPT-M Touch start menu appears in the browser
and you can query the data for your PV system in the
usual way.
