Here's how to use your

Zoom Stereomicroscope
properiy:
1. Slide your stereomicroscope
down the column and
secure it using the sleeve,
the safety ring and the
wing screw.
2. Fit the binocular tube
and additional tubes
if required.
3. Insert the eyepieces.
Secure them with the
clamping screws.
4. Choose an additional
objective if required.
Fit it to the main objective
using the screw.
Set the working distance.
5.Mountthe Illuminator re
quired and switch it on.
6. Look down the binocular tube.
Displace the eyepiece tubes
to give the correct inter-
pupillary distance.

7. Correct your diopter setting
by turning the eyelens
mounts.

8. Position the object to be
investigated under the
objective.
Use the focusing drive to
bring the image into focus.

9. Select a low magnification
in order to obtain an overall
viewof the object.
Rotate the zoom magnifica-
tion changer to the desired
magnification.

Your WILD M7A or M7S Zoom Stereo-
microscope is nowparfocally adjusted.
The image remains sharp from the Iowest
magnification to the highest. You can
inspect the object, right from the overall
view down to fine details, without refo-
cusing. Make sure, though, that you have
gone through the procedure for dioptric
correction described in section 19.
