1. Stands
Nurnerous incident- and transmitted-light
Stands are avaiiable for the WILD M7A and
M7S Stereomicroscopes.
Incident- and t r a n s m i t t e d - l i g h t Stands
The normal Stands for incident light are cir-
cular or rectangular.
The incident- and transmitted-light Stands
are supplied with a 350 mm long column. An
inclinable 215 mm long column is avaiiable
for the rectangular incident-light base (fig. 3).
If the base and the column are found to have
been packed separately, connect them with
the two Allen screws, using the Allen key
providedffig. 1).
- Slide the safety ring down the column.
- Place the stage clips and the stage plate in
Position.
- Fit the optics carrier as described in sec-
tion 2.
The stereomicroscope can be provided with
a metal hood which fits on the circular inci-
dent- and transmitted-light Stands, protects
the instrument, and enables it to be easily
carried.
Large i n c i d e n t - l i g h t stand
To inspect masks and wafers, large incident-
ght Stands are avaiiable (fig. 2). Wafer
slides and turrets, and mask holders, can be
supplied to order.
- Bolt the stage carrier (29) to the baseplate
from beneath.
- Slide the sleeve and the safety ring down
the column.
This stand can also be equipped with a fibre
ring lamp for observations in transmitted
ght; a carrier for it is to be placed in the
baseplate.
Universal stand
The universal stand consists of a baseplate
and a 450 mm- or 800 mm-long column
which is to be bolted to the centreof the base- •
plate (fig. 4).
- Slide the sleeve and the safety ring (36)
(flat side uppermost) down the column.
- Lower the adapter (37) so that the carrier
rod (38) points upwards.
- Remove the safety screw (28).
- If appropriate, slide an adapter for column
diameter 25 mm on to the carrier rod so
that a lamp can later be added. Slide the
stereomicroscope down the column.
The baseplate serves as a working surface
and a transmitted-light stand can be placed
upon it.
Large Stands
Floor Stands, wall Stands and ceiling mounts
are avaiiable for special applications; they
have a cantilever of 140 cm.
