• Briefly press the button „Start/Enter". The time then begins to flash.
• With the buttons „+>" or „<-", you can select the time (1 to 60 min).
• Save the setting with the button „Start/Enter"; the time stops blinking.
• With the „+>" button, you access the next setting (or with the button „
menu with the button „Batt Type/Stop".

• However, do not set the time too short, otherwise the accumulator will not be fully charged.
Calculate the time for the safety timer as follows:

The accumulator may become quite hot using the cycle program
(automatic charge/discharge cycles in sequence). Set a break
time here to allow the accumulator to cool off sufficiently.

As soon as a charge process starts, the internal timer starts as
well. If the charger cannot detect whether the accumulator is
fully charged for whatever reason (e.g. with delta-U detection),
the charge process is terminated automatically after a set time if
the safety timer is set to ON. This protects the accumulator from
