If a multi-cell accumulator is connected via the balancer connections, you can switch between the normal display
and the display of the cell voltages during the discharge process with the „+>" button.

a) Charging accumulators („Charge")
The charge current to be set depends on the accumulator capacity and is usually 1C. However, you should take the
accumulator manufacturer's instructions into account.
The value „1C" means that the charging current is equivalent to the accumulator's capacity.
As such, a charge current of 3.0A should be set for a 3000mAh NiMH accumulator at 1C.
Depending on the accumulator connected and its structure, a charge current of 1C may not be possib-
le. For example, receiver batteries usually consist of Mignon/AA cells that cannot withstand such a high
charge current without occurring damage.
In general: The smaller the accumulator (i.e. the individual cell), the lower the maximum charge current.
Many NiMH mignon/AA cells with a capacity of 2000mAh allow only a charge current of 400-500mA for
a rapid recharge.
When automatically charging an NiMH or NiCd and batteries with especially low input resistance or low capacity, it
may occur that the battery charger delivers to great a charging current. This may destroy the battery. For this rea-
son, it is necessary to program a charging current limit.
In the manual mode, the battery is charged with the charging current set.

Proceed further as described in chapter 11b) with the difference,
that the accumulator is not charged but discharged.
