17. BasIC settIngs (user set)
When connected to a power supply, the battery charger operates with certain default settings, which generally enab-
le acceptable operation.
However, to charge a lithium battery it is mandatory that the battery type (LiPo, LiIon, LiFe) connected
be selected.
On preselecting the battery type, the appropriate default settings are activated, which then apply to all
further charging/discharging.

When the battery charger is switched on you are automatically in the starting menu „User Set Program". Confirm
the selection with the „Start/Enter" key.

Use the „+>" and „

When you want to change a setting, confirm the selection of the submenu item with the „Start/Enter" key. The
adjustable value displayed blinks.

Use the „+>" or „
" key to change the value blinking on the display.

Hold the „+>" or „
" key depressed to run through the values quickly.

Save the (changed) value using the „Start/Enter" key or change to the next adjustable value for the submenu
item.
•
Use the „Batt Type/Stop" key to leave the settings menu, which will take you back to the main menu.
