3. Product Description

The ready-to-fly IR electric double-rotor helicopter has two opposing main rotors. Thus, there is no torque around the
yaw axis and the model does not need a tail rotor for lateral stability. The upper main rotor has rotor blades with a fixed
angle of attack and a tilt joint that is stabilised with a centrifugal rod running along. The lower rotor also has a fixed
angle of attack and is not controlled or stabilised.
Lifting and lowering the model is effected via a common modification of the number of revolutions of both main rotor
blades. Rotation around the yaw axis (rotor shaft) is effected by means of different revolutions of the two main rotors.
An integrated stabilisation system (gyro) ensures that the tail does not swerve to the side on its own in flight.
Additionally, the helicopter has a horizontally attached tail propeller to tilt the model forwards or backwards in hover
flight to make it possible to fly forwards or backwards.
For operation, 6 mignon batteries (e.g. Conrad item no.: 65 25 06, please order 6x) are required.
Please use batteries only instead of rechargeable batteries for operating the IR transmitter.
