If the model starts to sink in the curve, you did not pull the elevator control stick strongly enough. If the model starts to
rise in the curve, you pulled the elevator control stick too strongly.
If the curve is very generous, the aileron was not deflected enough or long enough. If the curve is very tight and the
model is extremely slanted, the aileron was operated too long or too strongly.
Attention!
Always make sure the model plane flies at sufficient speed. By pulling too much on the elevator rudder
joystick, the model will become too slow and tilt forwards over the tip or laterally over one wing.
Therefore, start flying at a sufficient safety altitude in order to get used to the steering characteristics of the model. Do
not try to fly too far away in order to be able to clearly judge the flight attitude at all times.
d) Trimming the Model
If, in straight flight, your model shows the tendency to drift to one direction, correct the neutral position of the corresponding
rudder via the trim.
Aileron:
If the model drifts towards the left, push the trim lever (see figure 2, item 5) gradually towards the right until the model
flies straight. If the model drifts towards the right, carry out a trim correction to the left.
Elevator:
Set the elevator trim lever (see figure 2, item 4) so that the model rises in a flat angle at full motor speed and maintains
the altitude at reduced motor speed.

e) The First Landing

Like the first flight, the first landing should always be done against the wind. Reduce the motor speed and fly in wide
and flat circles. Do not pull too hard on the elevator to reduce the flying altitude slowly. Select the last curve before the
approach for a landing so that in case of an emergency you would have sufficient room for landing and so that you
would not have to make considerable corrections to the course during the approach for a landing.
When the model is flying along the planned landing line, reduce the motor speed further and keep the model in a
horizontal position using the elevator. The model should continue to descend and fly towards the planned touch down
point at the end of the imaginary landing line.
In this critical flying phase, ensure sufficient flying speed and do not slow down the model reducing the motor speed
too much or by pulling too hard at the elevator. It is only shortly before the touch-down that you should stop the motor
and land the model with fully drawn elevator.
After landing, you may re-adjust the rudder and the elevator linkage so that the model flies straight and the trim levers
on the transmitter are in centre position again.
