d) Mounting the landing gear

The landing gear is pre-assembled including wheels as well as wheel
spats and landing gear casing. Attach a thin strip of double-sided tape to
the left and the right angled part of the landing gear casing (1).
The slotted support for the landing gear (2) is on the underside of the
fuselage between the two battery compartments.
Push the pre-assembled landing gear into the landing gear slot from the
bottom as far as it will go. Make sure that the tapering wheel spats (3)
point backwards. The landing gear is held in the slot by its elastic force.
Attach the parts of the landing gear casing with the doubled-sided tape
to the fuselage parallel to the battery compartment.
If you use the model on a meadow instead of a hard runway, you should
use it without the landing gear. For this purpose, you can easily let the
model take off from your hand and let it belly-land later. This is significantly
less dangerous that risking the landing gear getting caught up when
landing, which would cause the model to inevitably turn over.
