d) Checking the rotor blade fastening

• To allow the rotor blades (1) to orientate them-
selves to each other optimally at a 180° angle
during operation, the blade retainer screws (2)
must not be tightened too firmly.
• If you pitch the helicopter by 90° to the side,
the rotor blades must flap down automatically
due to their weight.
• Only tighten the blade retainer screws so firmly
that the rotor blades can only just flap down.
