6.
The data from the second outside transmitter and the channel symbol "2" should now be
displayed on the weather station. If this does not happen within 2 minutes, then all batteries
have to be removed from all units and a new basic setting from Step 1 has to be undertaken.
7.
As soon as the channel symbol "2" and its outside area data are displayed on the weather
station, the batteries are to be inserted into the third transmitter. Within 2 minutes, the data
from the third outside transmitter channel "" have to be displayed. If the data from the third
outside transmitter correctly received, then the channel symbol switches back to "1." If this
does not happen, a new basic setting from Step 1 has to be undertaken.
The batteries should be inserted into the third outside transmitter at the latest
within 10 seconds after reception of outside area data from the second outside
transmitter.
8.
To ensure a sufficient 868 MHz signal transmission, it is necessary to maintain a distance of
no more than 100 meters under good conditions between the final installation locations of
the weather station and the outside transmitter (see note under "Placement" and "868 MHz
reception").
If the description above for setting of additional outside transmitters is not correctly
followed, transmission problems can arise. If such problems arise, removal of the
batteries from all units and a new setting from Step 1 are required.
9.
When all sensors have registered as having been received, the station begins DCF reception
automatically. In good conditions, this takes approximately -5 min. If no DCF signal has been
received after 10 minutes, set the time manually.

B) DCF-Reception

The radio clock integrated in the base station can receive and evaluate the so-called DCF signal.
This is a signal which is sent by a transmitter in Mainflingen (near Frankfurt am Main, Germany).
Its range is up to 1500 km, under ideal conditions even up to 2000 km. The DCF signal includes
the exact time (deviation theoretically 1 second every 1 million years!) and the date. Clocks
with a DCF receiver can receive and evaluate the signal. Manual setting of a radio clock is
thus unnecessary, even when changing from daylight saving time or winter time. Change the
installation location of the base unit if it has not received any DCF time after 10-0 minutes.
The time to receive the DCF signal is between 2:00 am and :00 am. If reception
fails during this time frame, the device makes renewed attempts to receive at 4:00
am, 5:00 am and 6:00 am. If this is not successful, the next attempt is made at 2:00
am the following day. Once the DCF signal has been received successfully, this
replaces manual date and time settings. (Please see sections G and H).
