3.5. Electrical Connections
The heater may only be connected to the electrical
network in accordance with the current regulations
by an authorised, professional electrician.
The cross-section area of the wires connected
from the heater to the heating control and signal
light must be equal to that of the supply cable of
the heater. The heater is semistationarily connected
to the junction box on the sauna wall. See fig. 7.
The connection cable must be of rubber cable type
H07RN-F or its equivalent.
NOTE!. Due to thermal embrittlement, the use
of PVC-insulated wire as the connection cable of
the heater is forbidden. The junction box must be
splash-proof, and its maximum height from the floor
must not exceed 50 cm.
If the connection and installation cables are higher
than 100 cm from the floor in the sauna or inside
the sauna room walls, they must be able to endure
a minimum temperature of 170 °C when loaded
(for example, SSJ). Electrical equipment installed
higher than 100 cm from the sauna floor must
be approved for use in a temperature of 125 °C
(marking T125).
Elecrical connections of heater BC
The heater has a built-in control unit. In addition to
supply connectors, the control unit is equipped with
an additional connector (P) which makes control of
electrical heating possible. See fig. 8.
The control cable for electrical heating is brought
directly into the junction box of the heater, and
from there to the terminal block of the heater along
a rubber cable with the same thickness as that of
the connection wire.
3.5.1. Resetting the overheating limiter (BC23,
BC35)
The reset button is located on the thermostat frame
on the electrical box (see fig. 11), and consequently,
the fuses of the heater on the electrical panel must
be removed before commencing the work.
1. Detach the turnable levers of the thermostat and
the timer by pulling them outwards.
2. Detach the M4x5 screw below the timer lever.
3. Detach the fastening screws (2) of the connection
box cover on the lower end of the box, and remove
the cover of the connection box.
4. Reset the limit stop by pressing (with 7 kg force
if necessary) so that a clicking sound is heard.

3.6. Electric heater insulation resistance

When performing the final inspection of the electrical
installations, a "leakage" may be detected when
measuring the heater's insulation resistance. The
reason for this is that the insulating material of the
heating resistors has absorbed moisture from the
air (storage transport). After operating the heater
for a few times, the moisture will be removed from
the resistors.
Do not connect the power feed for the heater
through the RCD (residual current device)!

3.5. Elektroanschlüße
Der Anschluß des Saunaofens ans Stromnetz darf
nur von einem zugelassenen Elektromonteur unter
Beachtung der gültigen Vorschriften ausgeführt
werden.
Die Kabel vom Saunaofen zur Wärmesteuerung und
zum Signallicht müssen in ihrer Querschnittsfläche
dem Netzkabel des Saunaofens entsprechen. Der
Saunaofen wird halbfest an die Klemmdose an der
Saunawand befestigt. Siehe Abb. 7. Als Anschluß-
kabel wird ein Gummikabel vom Typ H07RN-F oder
ein entsprechendes Kabel verwendet.
ACHTUNG! PVC-isolierte Kabel dürfen wegen ihrer
schlechten Hitzebeständigkeit nicht als Anschlußkabel
des Saunaofens verwendet werden. Die Klemmdose
muß spritzwasserfest sein und darf höchstens 50
cm über dem Fußboden angebracht werden.
Falls der Anschluß oder die Montagekabel in die
Sauna oder die Saunawände in einer Höhe über 100
cm über dem Boden münden, müssen sie belastet
mindestens eine Temperatur von 170 °C aushalten
(z.B. SSJ). Elektrogeräte, die höher als 100 cm
vom Sauna-boden angebracht werden, müssen für
den Gebrauch bei 125 °C Umgebungstemperatur
zugelassen sein (Vermerk T125).
Elektroanschlüsse des Saunaofens BC
Im Saunaofen befindet sich eine eingebaute
Steuerzentrale. Die Steuerzentrale ist außer dem
Netzanschluß mit einem zusätzlichen Anschluss
(P) ausgestattet, die Steuerung der Elektroheizung
gestattet. Siehe Abb. 8.
Das Steuerungskabel für die Elektroheizung wird
direkt zur Klemmdose des Saunaofens gelegt und
von dort aus ein Gummikabel der gleichen Stärke
weiter zur Reihenklemme des Saunaofens.
3.5.1. Rücksetzung des Überhitzungsschutzes
(BC23, BC35)
Der Rücksetzknopf befindet sich in der Elektrobuchse
im Rahmenteil des Thermostats (siehe Abb. 11),
daher müssen die Saunaofensicherungen an der
Elektrotafel zunächst gelöst werden.
1. Entfernen Sie die Drehhebel des Thermostats und
die Zeitschaltuhr, indem Sie sie herausziehen.
2. Lösen Sie die Schraube M4x5 unter dem Hebel
der Zeitschaltuhr.
3. Lösen Sie die Sicherungsschrauben (2) der
Schaltergehäuseabdeckung am unteren Ende des
Gehäuses und entfernen Sie die Abdeckung des
Schaltergehäuses.
4. Der Begrenzer wird durch Druck in seine Funktions-
stellung zurückgesetzt (bei Bedarf mit einer Kraft,
die 7 kg entspricht), im Begrenzer ist dann ein
Knacken zu hören. Siehe Abbildung 11.
3.6. Isolationswiderstand des
Elektrosaunaofens
Bei der Endkontrolle der Elektroinstallationen kann
bei der Messung des Isolationswiderstandes ein
"Leck" auftreten, was darauf zurückzuführen ist, daß
Feuchtigkeit aus der Luft in das Isolationsmaterial
der Heizwiderstände eingetreten ist (bei Lagerung
und Transport). Die Feuchtigkeit entweicht aus den
Widerständen nach zwei Erwärmungen.
Schalten Sie den Netzstrom des Elektrosaunaofens
nicht über den Fehlerstromschalter ein!
