4. Trouble-Shooting

Explanation
Leak in recirculation water hose.
Water overflow in the Cooli water
tank.
Insufficient additive for cooling fluid.
The machine is left with closed
protection hood.
The quick-clamping device is not in
balance.
Clamping heart worn.
There is an obstruction in the
cutting chamber.
Incorrect Pass Code used.
Action
Check the hose and tighten the
hose clamp.
Remove the excess water in the
tank.
Add Struers Additive for cooling fluid
to the cooling water, using the
correct concentration. Check with a
refractometer. Follow the
instructions in the Maintenance
section.
Leave the protection hood open to
let the cutting chamber dry.
Adjust the screw underneath the
clamping column. Use a 3mm Allen
key.
Call a Struers Service Technician.
Remove the obstruction.
Re-start machine using Main
Switch.
Enter the correct Pass Code.
If error remains, contact a Struers
Service Technician.
