CARBURETOR

To ensure optimum carburetion, it is es-
sential to carefully clean the carburetor.
Remove the carburetor from the vehicle.
Unscrew the two fi xing screws A and
remove the fl oat chamber. Check that the
fl oat is properly positioned by verifying
that fl oat holder plate is parallel with the
carburetor body surface as shown in the
fi gure. Also check that the jets are clean.

BATTERY

Check if battery is charged by measuring
the voltage with a voltmeter while the bat-
tery is at rest (engine off). The voltage must
not be less than 12.8 V.
In case of discharged battery, use an exter-
nal battery's loader; disconnect the battery
(if possible remove it from the vehicle) and
recharge it following the instructions "to go
on road" of the two-wheeler.
