6. Regular maintenance
• Draw up a cleaning schedule for the device, in particular in environments such as construction sites,
where dust and dirt are quick to accumulate
• Always pay attention to signs of wear such as cracks in the housing or damaged gaskets as these can
impair the safety and performance of the device
Avoid:
• cleaning the Instagrid LINK MAX with a hose or a high-pressure cleaner, even in case of heavy dust or
concrete deposits The direct impact of water could impair the IP type of protection of the device and
possibly damage internal components
• the use of metal scrapers or scouring pads to clean concrete off the surface as these could damage
the housing and the protective gaskets of the Instagrid LINK MAX
• scratching or damaging parts of the Instagrid LINK MAX and pressing the tool too hard against
the housing
83 Repairs
• If you suspect an internal error (repeated triggering, unusual noises), please contact the Insta-
grid Support
• Do not open the device housing; only authorised service technicians may replace internal parts (con-
tactors, circuit breakers, IMD module, etc)

regulations
