5 Initial Start-up
Before using the device for the first time, carry out the following steps once:
Check the package for outer damage
Open the package at the top side
Remove the Instagrid LINK MAX by the handle, together with the
side bolster
Check for completeness and damage
Place the Instagrid LINK MAX on a stable, level surface and fasten the Insta-
grid LINK MAX on the Instagrid ONE
• You can also mount the Instagrid LINK MAX (eg on a wall) For this, bores
are provided at the underside of the device Be sure to use screws of suffi-
cient length and strength
Connect 3 x Instagrid ONE with Instagrid LINK MAX
• Check the charge state of the Instagrid ONE units These should be com-
pletely charged or be in an operational state before connection
• Make sure the Instagrid ONE units are switched off when con-
necting them
• Use the Neutrik powerCON® TRUE1® connecting cables included in the
delivery
• Plug the Instagrid ONE connecting cable into the input socket of the LINK
MAX and turn it appropriately to lock
• Ensure that the cables are properly strain-relieved and are not un-
der tension
• The cables must not cross any walkways or get entangled with oth-
er devices
• Ensure that the cables are not bent, intertwined or damaged Keep the
cables away from heat sources and sharp edges
