High Voltage
• Instagrid LINK MAX works with
high voltage alternating current up to 400 V
(phase-phase) and with up to 16 A per phase
Contact with exposed electrical parts can lead to
serious injuries or death
• Never open or modify the housing There are no
parts inside that can be serviced by the user
The internal components include high voltage
contactors, insulation monitoring devices and
other electronic components that must not be
manipulated
• If the housing, the cables or the connections
of the device are damaged, immediately stop
operation and contact the Instagrid After
Sales Service
• Never connect any damaged cables and do
not bend any connectors Touching damaged
cables and connectors can lead to serious inju-
ries or death
• Immediately disconnect the device from the
power supply if you notice smoke, a burnt smell
or unusual noises Do not try to repair internal
parts yourself
• Do not bridge or deactivate any safety functions
such as the internal circuit breaker, the contac-
tors or the insulation monitoring device
• Only use accessories and cables approved by
Instagrid with Neutrik powerCON® TRUE1®
connections Third-party connectors can impair
the safety or functionality
Personnel Qualification
• Instagrid LINK MAX has been designed for
professional users or trained personnel who are
acquainted with the basic principles of alter-
nating current supply, earthing and the local
regulations
• Keep the device away from children and un-
trained persons
Work Environment
• Do not immerse the device in water and do not
hose down with a high-pressure water jet Mois-
ture can disable the safety functions
• Observe the recommended ambient temper-
atures
(see Section 4.3.)

Note on Packaging
• Your Instagrid LINK MAX may be shipped in
protective foam or custom packaging to prevent
mechanical or environmental damage Always
retain this packaging to transport the device
across short distances or if a return shipment is
necessary
• Follow all local regulations regarding the disposal
or recycling of packaging materials
and avoid prolonged
