8.2.1 Hole bottom delay
• This parameter is only available in Auto mode. It determines how long the tool
pauses at the bottom of the hole after reaching the set tapping depth.
• Tap Hole Bottom Delay to set a delay time, ranging from 0 to 10 seconds.
8.2.2 Air valve
• Set to ON to enable the automated blowing system during tapping operation. Air is
blown automatically from the air nozzle to remove the debris, metal chippings and
shavings generated during the removal of the tap from the workpiece.
• Set to OFF to close the air valve and disable the automated blowing system.
• Adjust the air nozzle as needed.
8.2.3 Oil valve
• Set to ON to enable the automated lubrication system during tapping operations.
Lubrication oil is automatically dispensed from the oil nozzle to lubricate the tap
and the workpiece during the tapping process.
• Tap Oil valve opening time to set the injection delay time, ranging from 0.1 to
25 seconds.
• Set to OFF to disable the automated lubrication system.
• Adjust the oil nozzle to ensure oil is dispensed onto the tap during the tapping
process.
8.2.4 Cycles
• This parameter is only available in Auto mode. It sets the number of tapping cycles
that occur with a single press of the start button (14).
• Tap Cycle to set the number of cycles, ranging from 1 to 9999.
8.2.5 Retreat more cycles
• This parameter is only available in Auto mode. This extra retract cycle ensures that
the tap fully withdraws from the hole.
• Tap Retreat More Cycles to set the number of extra cycles, ranging from 1 to 10.
8.2.6 User parameter initialization
• Tap Enter to reset the settings to factory defaults.
8.2.7 Tapping torque curve
• Set to ON to display the tapping torque curve during tapping.
• Set to OFF to show the operation settings interface during tapping.
8.2.8 Motor Direction
• Use this setting to switch the rotational direction of the spindle between left-hand
and right-hand, when working with reverse threading.
• Tap Enter Test to check the spindle orientation has been changed as set.
8.2.9 Torque protection
• Set to ON to activate the torque protection. The tool automatically stops if the
torque exceeds the set limit.
• Set to OFF to disable torque protection.
8.2.10 Automatic torque protection
• Set to ON to enable automatic reverse when the tool reaches the maximum torque
limit.
• Set to OFF to disable the automatic reverse feature after torque protection is
triggered.

Servo Parameter
8.3.1 Deceleration ratio
The deceleration ratio of the transmission structure reducer. Tap the blank area to
select the desired ratio, e.g. 16.
8.3.2 Acceleration or deceleration
This sets the motor's acceleration from 0 to the maximum speed. For example, if the
acceleration/deceleration is set to 100, the motor accelerates from 0 to 3000 rpm in
300 ms (3000 rpm/100 × 10 ms).
8.3.3 No-load torque
The torque when the tool is running under no-load conditions. For taps in smaller
sizes, set this parameter to a lower value accordingly.
8.3.4 Motor speed limit
Set the speed limit for the tapping speed and return speed.
8.3.5 Motor model
Tap the text box to toggle between 60ST and 80ST.
• 60ST: 60ST-M1350 motor model, suitable for M10, M12 and M16 tapping
machines.
• 80ST: 80ST-M4050 motor model, suitable for M24, M30, M36 and M48 tapping
machines.
8.3.6 Language
Tap to switch between the available languages.
8.3.7 Initialization servo parameter
• Tap YES to reset the parameters to the default values. After tapping yes, switch the
tool off by pressing the power button to allow the changes to take effect.
• Tap NO to exit without making changes.
8.3.8 Servo motor custom parameter
CAUTION! Risk of damage!
» The servo motor custom parameter should only be adjusted under the guidance
of professional technicians. Attempting to change these parameters without the
proper expertise could potentially damage the motor or other critical components.
NOTICE!
» Access to the servo motor custom parameter settings is restricted and requires
inputting a password "666888" before entering the parameter setting interface.
