Truma iNet X Connect
In countries outside the European Union, these statuto-
ry guarantee claims are governed by the regulations of
the country in which the consumer first purchased the
device.
In individual countries, there may be additional guaran-
tees issued by the respective specialist dealer (official
distributor, Truma Partner). In such cases the guarantee
can be implemented directly through the dealer from
whom the consumer bought the device. The guaran-
tee regulations of the country in which the device was
purchased by the consumer for the first time shall also
be applicable.

17 .2 Exclusion of guarantee

There is no guarantee claim under this guarantee:
as a result of improper, not suitable, faulty, negligent
•
or not compliant with the intended use or handling
of the device;
Improper installation, assembly or commissioning,
•
contrary to operating or installation instructions;
as a result of improper operation, improper handling
•
or operation contrary to the operating and installa-
tion instructions, in particular disregard of mainte-
nance, care or warning notes, or the operation of
defective devices;
if installations, removals, repairs or other interven-
•
tions are carried out by unauthorised persons or by
the consumer themselves;
Consumable materials and parts which are subject
•
to natural wear and tear;
if the device is fitted with spare, supplementary or
•
accessory parts that are not original parts of the
manufacturer or have not been approved by the
manufacturer; this applies in particular in the case
of networked control of the device, if the control
units, operating parts and software have not been
approved by Truma or if the Truma control unit or
the Truma operating part (Truma CP plus, Truma iNet
Box, Truma iNet X Pro Panel, Truma iNet X Panel,
Truma iNet X Connect, Truma iNet X Interface, or
similar) is not used exclusively for the control and
operation of Truma devices or devices approved by
Truma.similar) is not used exclusively for the con-
trol unit and operation of Truma devices or devices
approved by Truma;
as a result of damage caused by foreign substances

(e.g. oils, plasticisers in the gas), chemical or electro-
chemical influences in the water or if the device has
otherwise come into contact with substances that
are not suitable (e.g. chemical products, flammable
substances, not suitable cleaning agents);
Damage caused by abnormal environmental or un-

suitable operating conditions;
as a result of damage caused by force majeure or
•
natural disasters, as well as other influences for
which the manufacturer is not responsible; Damage
resulting from improper transport;

as a result of modifications to the device, including

spare, supplementary or accessory parts and their
installation, modifications in particular to the exhaust
gas discharge or cowl by the consumer or third
parties;
As a consequence of intentional or negligent dam-

age.

17 .3 Making a guarantee claim

The guarantee must be claimed at a service partner
authorised by Truma or at the Truma Service Centre.
All the relevant addresses and phone numbers can be
found at www.truma.com, in the "Service" section.
To ensure a smooth procedure, we would be grateful
if you could have the following details ready before
contacting us:
Detailed description of the defect
•
Serial number of the device
•
Date of purchase
•
The service partner authorised by Truma or the Truma
Service Centre will determine the further procedure in
each case. To avoid possible transport damage, the
affected device may only be shipped after prior consul-
tation with the service partner authorised by Truma or
the Truma Service Centre. We ask you not to send in an
device without prior arrangement.
If the guarantee case is recognised by the manufactur-
er, then the transport expenses shall be borne by the
same. If no guarantee case is applicable, the consumer
will be notified accordingly and any repair and transport
expenses shall then be the consumer's liability.
