Removal
To avoid damaging the cable, remove the plug of the
cable from the CAN1 connection of the Connect.
Move the Connect upwards along the mounting
plate until it is released from the 4 locking hooks on
the mounting plate.

Initial start-up
The Connect is ready for operation as soon as
the Connect is connected to the panel,
•
the panel is switched on and
•
the LED button on the Connect flashes white.
•
If the LED button does not light up or is red, see the
Chapter "Product description" for its meaning.

Function check
Check whether the panel has detected the Connect.
The panel display shows "Connectivity Module –
Truma iNet X Connect".
The eSIM card must be activated with the app prior
to subsequent checks. As the free period begins
once the eSIM card has been activated, it should be
activated just before using the Connect.
Check whether the panel can be controlled and
monitored remotely via the app.
Check whether an Internet connection to the cloud
is established.
If a function is not available, see the Chapter "Errors".

Operation
10 .1 Switching off the Connect
Switch off the panel.
or
Remove the plug of the cable from the Connect.
10 .2 Switching on the Connect
Switch on the panel.
and / or
Insert the plug of the cable into the Connect.

Errors
Measures to rectify errors are listed below.
If these actions do not produce the desired result,
contact Truma Service.
LED button is red
The error is displayed on the panel and in the app.
To rectify the error, solutions are suggested on the
panel display and in the app; follow the instructions
on the panel display or in the app.
Acknowledge the error via the panel or the app.

LED button flashes or does not light up
Check 12 V DC power supply.
Check the fuses of the power supply in the vehicle
and replace if necessary.
App problems
Check that the app is up to date.
Perform an update if necessary.
The Connect does not respond
The following measures can help.
Press the LED button for 5 seconds.
The Connect restarts.
or
Remove the plug of the cable from the Connect.
After a few seconds, insert the plug of the cable
back into the Connect.
The Connect restarts.

Software update
Software updates for the Connect are automatically
downloaded and installed via mobile phone. The
software update process can take up to 5 minutes. If
a software update has been successfully installed, the
Connect restarts.
If a software update could not be completed, the
system falls back to the previously installed software
version. This ensures that the Connect can be operated
safely.
The following reasons may be responsible for an unsuc-
cessful update:
Interruption of the LTE or GSM connection
•
Interruption of the power supply
•
If a software update is unsuccessful, another at-
tempt is usually made automatically the next day.

Cleaning
The Connect can be wiped with a soft cloth slightly
moistened with water.
During cleaning:
Make sure that no water gets inside the Connect.

Repair
NOTICE
Damage due to repair
The Connect may be damaged if repairs are not
carried out by competent and trained personnel
or if original Truma spare parts are not used.
