Setting the slide switch
The slide switch for the termination resistor on the
Connect is set to 120 Ω when delivered.
The following table shows when the slide switch must
be set to "Off".

LED button
Depending on the operating mode (OM) of the Connect,
the LED button either does not light up or lights up in a
colour. The meaning of the colours is described in the
following table.

1 x Installation template with QR code
1 x Mounting plate iNet X
2 x Phillips DIN 7996-H, 4 x 15 mm, steel, galvanised
surface (button head cap screws with a Phillips
head)
1 x Truma iNet X Connect

Installation
The Connect is supplied with voltage via the panel. The
Connect does not require its own power supply. The
power supply for the Connect is provided via the cable
supplied.
DANGER
Electric shock from live parts
Live parts may have to be touched during instal-
lation.
Before installing the Connect:
Remove the 230 V connector cable from the
external socket.
Switch off the independent 230 V power
supply (e.g. solar panels, inverter, generator).
Switch off fuses and / or residual current
circuit-breakers (RCCB) in the vehicle.

Choosing an installation location
The Connect is suitable for wall mounting on a level
•
surface.
The wall must be at least 7 mm thick.
•
Install the Connect in a location that is protected
•
from moisture and humidity.
Do not install the Connect between metal surfaces.
•
Keep a minimum distance of more than 30 cm be-
•
tween the built-in metal appliances (e.g. refrigerator,
microwave, stove) and the Connect.
For the best possible reception, install the Connect
•
in the upper area of the vehicle. If this is not pos-
sible, maintain a minimum distance of more than
50 cm from the floor.
Position the Connect as close as possible to the
•
panel (Fig. 2).
