Truma iNet X Connect
If the following conditions are met, the functionality of
the Connect is available:
The panel is installed in the caravan or motor home.
The panel controls all TIN bus-capable Truma devic-
es also via the app via Bluetooth.
Firmware version 3.00 or higher is installed on the
panel.
Call up the following menu to check the firm-
ware version on the panel: Settings > General
> Device Manager > Panel – iNet X or Panel –
iNet XPro. To update the firmware version, see
Truma iNet X Panel / Truma iNet X Pro Panel operat-
ing instructions.
The app is installed on a mobile device. The app is
also required to transfer updates from the cloud to
the panel and the Connect.
The mobile device is paired with the panel.
A Truma account has been created.
A compatible mobile phone network is available.

Unauthorised use

All uses not listed in intended uses are unauthorised
and therefore not permitted.
Installation on boats or other water vessels is not per-
mitted.

Operating approval

The following circumstances invalidate the operating
approval of the Connect:
Modifications to the Connect, including accessories
Using replacement and accessory parts that are not
original Truma parts
Not observing the information in these operating
and installation instructions
In some countries, these circumstances also invalidate
the operating approval of the vehicle.

Safety instructions

3 .1

General safety

Read and closely follow the safety instructions to
prevent risks and damage to people and property.
Read and observe the operating and installation
instructions for the Connect and supporting docu-
ments for other devices, such as gas supply, heating
system, air conditioning system, and the vehicle
carefully and keep them in a safe place for subse-
quent use.
Observe local laws, guidelines and standards associ-
ated with the use and operation of the Connect.

Safety instructions for the Connect

The Connect must not be operated unless it is in
technically perfect condition.
Only carry out repairs yourself if the solution is de-
scribed on the panel display or in the app.
No repairs or modifications to the Connect are
allowed.
A defective Connect may only be repaired by
Truma Service.
Observe the safety instructions in the operating
instructions for the panel.
If the housing of the Connect is damaged or liquid
has run into the housing, do not insert the plug of
the cable into the Connect or disconnect the plug of
the cable from the Connect.
3 .3

Handling electricity

Only qualified electricians may work on electrical sys-
tems of the vehicle.
Observe country-specific and voltage-related rules
and regulations.
Take account of the vehicle's specific features.
Ensure the necessary workplace safety.
3 .4

Battery voltage 12 V DC

The Connect is supplied via the on-board power supply
by a 12 V battery. In case of high electrical loads or a
short circuit very high currents may flow in the cables
which make the cables hot and may lead to cable fire.
Use only original cables, panel cables and fuses.
3 .5

Original spare parts

Using parts (additional components, spare and wearing
parts) outside the manufacturer's specification may
have an adverse effect on the function or safety of the
Connect and may damage the vehicle and limit the
warranty and manufacturer's liability.
Use only original additional components, spare
and wearing parts from Truma Gerätetech-
nik GmbH & Co. KG.

Obligations of the user and operator

Make sure that the Connect can be operated proper-
ly in all operating phases.
