To insert the rechargeable battery in the device, tip it diagonally downward and place it in the rechargeable
battery compartment. Insert the rechargeable battery so that the contacts are aligned with the contacts of the
device. Then the rechargeable battery can be folded downward so that the lock snaps in.
28 Troubleshooting/Diagnostics
This section allows users/project engineers to pinpoint and rectify malfunctions or the results of operator
errors by themselves.

If the M2Smart
HMI10 Wired could not be brought to an operational state after performing the following
diagnostic measures, please contact ACD Support (see section 17.7). To be able to respond quickly and
selectively to the malfunction, the following details will be helpful for customer service:
