26.1 Retaining Strap
26.1.1 Adjusting the Retaining Strap
To adjust the retaining strap, rotate the retaining strap locks until it moves easily. Now guide the retaining
strap along the retaining strap rail until the optimum position has been found.
When the desired position is reached, twist the retaining strap lock until it can no longer be moved. The
length of the retaining strap can be adjusted as desired using the Velcro on the retaining strap.
The retaining strap can be individually adjusted by loosening the two locks at the top and bottom.

26.1.2 Changing the Retaining Strap
To remove the retaining strap, turn the retaining strap locks until it can be moved easily. Now guide the
retaining strap out to the side via the wider openings on the retaining strap rail.
To reattach the retaining strap, turn the unit onto its back and insert both ends of the retaining strap into the
rails on the side. When the desired position is reached, twist the respective retaining strap lock until it can no
longer be moved.
26.1.3 Right and Left-Handed Operation

The M2Smart
HMI10 Wired is designed for right- and left-handed operation. The device is always delivered
ready for right-handed operation.
To change to left-handed operation, change the position of the handle:
