23.3 Turn off
To turn off the M2Smart

"On/Off" button (hold for three seconds)
Then a dialog appears on the right side of the display with the following options

Turn off

Restart


To turn off the device, confirm the "Turn off" button. If you want to cancel this dialog, click on a free area in
the display. This will cause the dialog to close.
The Status LED goes out as soon as the M2Smart
23.4 Idle Mode (Power Saving Mode)
®
To switch the M2Smart

"On/Off" button (hold for two seconds).
In Idle mode, (system) processes minimize their power consumption in order to save energy. The display is
also switched off. This means the mobile HMI device requires only a little power and the rechargeable
battery time can be extended.
Press the "On/Off" button briefly to return to the normal screen.
