Automatic switches
• Automatic compressor protection switch
The switch allows power supply and insulation of the power circuit of the fixed compressor. Attention: the inverter compressor is equipped with a dedicated
sectional fuse base installed on its power supply line.
• Automatic switch for pump protection;
The switch makes it possible to supply and disconnect power from the pumps.
• Automatic switch for fan protection (128)
The switch makes it possible to supply and disconnect power from the fans.
2. SECTION II | INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
Pursuant to Regulation (EU) No. 517/2014 of 16 April 2014, operators of equipment which is required to be checked for leaks pursuant to Article 4(1), shall
establish and maintain records for each piece of such equipment specifying the information set forth in article 6 par. 1. The operator is the owner of the
equipment or of the system The operator may formally delegate a person or external company (through a written contract) the actual control of the equip-
ment and of the system.
2.1. STRUCTURAL FEATURES
o Load-bearing structure and panels in galvanised and RAL 9018 painted sheet metal; galvanised steel sheet metal base.
o The structure consists of two sections:
• technical compartment that houses the compressors, the electrical panel and the main components of the cooling circuit;
• aeraulic circuit dedicated to housing the heat exchanger coils and electric fans.
o Hermetic, Scroll-type rotary compressors complete with internal circuit breaker protection and crankcase resistance automatically activated when the unit
stops (as long as the unit is powered).
o Adequately insulated, braze-welded plate water side heat exchange made of stainless steel.
o Air side heat exchanger consisting in copper pipes and aluminium fins for heat pumps.
o External rotor axial type electric fans equipped with internal thermal protection and complete with a single row and double row of protection nets, depend-
ing on the models.
o In Q-Super-silenced versions sizes 270-285 the FIEC device is supplied as standard (fans with EC motor) whereas in sizes 2100-2150, the FI device is
supplied as standard (fans with phase cutting).
o Victaulic-type hydraulic connections.
o Differential pressure switch that protect the unit from any water flow interruptions.
o Cooling circuit made of annealed copper pipe (EN 12735-1-2) complete with: cartridge dryer filter, load connections, high pressure side manual reset
safety pressure switch, LP and HP pressure transducer, safety valve, valve stream of filter, liquid indicator, intake line isolation, electronic expansion
valve, cycle inversion valve and liquid receiver, check valves, gas separator and compressor suction tap.
o Unit with IP24 protection rating
o Control with AdaptiveFunction Plus operation.
o The unit is complete with a charge of R32 refrigerant.

Super-silenced version complete with soundproofed compressor compartment, super reduced speed fans and oversized condensing section. The
fan speed is automatically increased when the external temperature increases significantly
Electrical Control Board
o The electrical panel with IP54 protection rating can be accessed by opening the front panel, in compliance with EN 60204-1/IEC 60204-1 Standards in
force, fitted with opening and closing via specific tool.
o Complete with:
• electrical wiring arranged for power supply 400-3ph+N-50Hz;
• numbered electric cables;
• auxiliary circuit power supply 230V-1ph+N-50Hz derived from main power supply;
• main power supply switch with interlocking safety door isolator;
• automatic thermal overload switch to protect the compressors and the motor-driven fans;
• auxiliary circuit protection fuse;
• compressors power contactore;
• remote machine controls: ON/OFF and summer/winter selector;
• remote machine controls: compressor operating light and general lock light.
o Programmable microprocessor electronic board handled by the keyboard inserted in the machine.
o This electronic board performs the following functions:
• regulation and management of the set points for unit outlet water temperature; cycle inversion; safety timer delays; circulating pump; compressor and
system pump hour-run meter; defrost cycles; electronic anti-freeze protection which cuts in automatically when the machine is switched off; and the func-
tions which control the operation of the individual parts making up the machine;
• complete protection of the unit, possible shutdown and display of all the triggered alarms;
• compressor protection phase sequence monitor;
• unit protection against low or high phase power supply voltage;
• display of the programmed set points on the display; of the water in/out temperatures on the display; of the condensation and evaporation pressures; of
the electrical voltage values in the three phases of the electrical circuit that powers the unit; of the alarms on the display; of the chiller or heat pump func-
tion on the display;
• user interface menu;
• automatic pump operating time balance (DP1-DP2 installations);
• automatic activation of the pump in standby in the event of an alarm (DP1-DP2 installations);
