OPERATION OF THE DIRECT AND MIXING HEATING CIRCUIT
When using the PROMATIC D10, D20 controller with the direct and mixing heating circuit
(scheme 407) you can select (with the coding switches on the backside of the DD2) which
heating citcuit is controlled by room unit.
The DD2 room unit is controlling the direct and mixing heating circuit.
The DD2 room unit is controlling the direct heating circuit.
The DD2 room unit is controlling the mixing heating circuit.
The DD2 room unit is displaying only the controller operation.
Use of the room temperature sensor is set independent from the coding switch
S2 and S3 setting. See parameters S1.5, S2.1 and S3.1.
CONNECTING THE GAS BOILER
Gas boilers can be connected to the controller PROMATIC D10, D20 in three different
ways:
1. With module JMP1 or JMP2 and connection of the boiler temperature sensor KF.
This application allows proportional power control of Junkers and Vaillant gas boilers.
2. With connection to outputs A.1 and A.2
for burner control and conection of the
boiler temperature sensor KF. In this
case the boiler is 2-point (ON/OFF) con-
trolled and can be used by all kinds of
boilers. Also the burner operation hyste-
resis - parameter S5.6 must be set to 10
K or higher.
3. With connection to outputs A.1 and A.2
for burner control - parameter S5.3=0.
Boiler temperature sensor connection is
not necessary. In this case controller
PROMATIC D10, D20 permanently
switches on the boiler, when needed to.
Operation temperature is set on the boil-
er controller.
