3. When the moveable lift is lowered completely and
the cylinder bolt is in the displayed position, make
sure that the tube-shaped holder of the moveable lift
is below the stationary roll lift.

If these operating requirements are not given, set
the cylinder stroke.
4. When the moving stage is positioned as shown in the
illustration, loosen the clamping nut and shift the
cylinder rod until the desired position for the tube-
shaped holder of the moveable lift is reached.

5. Tighten the nut on the cylinder fork as far as it will
go.

4.5.2 Setting the lifting and lowering time
For a safe use of the TSL 230 lifting device, a lifting/
lowering time without load of 2,5 sec is required.

Proceed as follows to set the lifting/lowering time
TSL 230:
1. Activate the drive pedal and move the moveable lift
in the maximum cylinder opening position.
2. Carefully operate the flow meter on the drive pedal
as shown in the illustration.

3. Then activate the lowering movement of the lift-
ing device and make sure that the lowering time is
2,5 sec.
4. If necessary, repeat the procedure.
