POSSIBLE CAUSES
Grass and dirt accumulated inside
the mowing deck
Blunt or deformed blades
Damaged or worn out blade shaft.
The drive belts are insufficiently
tensioned
Unbalanced mowing blades
Incorrectly adjusted mowing deck
Blunt or curved blades
Incorrect timing of the blades.
Bent blades
Blades are turned around.
Blades are loose
Inappropriate mowing height
Grass has accumulated inside the
mowing deck
Full grass catcher
Clogged ejection chute
The drive belts are insufficiently
tensioned
Inappropriate travel speed
Incorrectly installed blade
Worn out blade paddles
Remove the dirt from the underside of
ƒ
the mowing deck.
Check the condition of the blades and
ƒ
sharpen or replace as necessary.
Check the condition of the shaft. In
ƒ
the event that the shaft is bent, it is
necessary to replace the entire angular
gearbox.
Check the tension of the belts and
ƒ
tension them if necessary.
Check that the mowing blades are
ƒ
balanced. Balance or replace them if
necessary
Check and if necessary adjust the
ƒ
angle of the mowing deck, including
levelness in the cross direction.
Check the condition of the blades and
ƒ
sharpen or replace as necessary.
An unmowed strip may remain after
ƒ
mowing thick grass or grass with
an excessively wet surface. If this
happens, adjust the travel speed. The
engine should run at maximum speed.
Check the timing of the blades relative
ƒ
to each other.
Check the condition of the blades and
ƒ
replace as necessary.
Mount the blades in the correct
ƒ
position.
Tighten the blade bolts.
ƒ
Check the mowing height and adjust
ƒ
if necessary. Turf is ripped out more
frequently on uneven terrain.
Remove the grass from the underside
ƒ
of the mowing deck. In wet conditions,
the ejection chute and the lower side of
the outlet from the mowing deck may
clog up with grass.
Do not mow wet grass.

Dump out the grass catcher.
ƒ
Clean out the ejection chute.
ƒ
Check the tension of the drive belts
ƒ
and tension them if necessary.
Adjust the travel speed to the mowing
ƒ
conditions. The engine should run at
maximum speed.
When mowing high grass, first mow
ƒ
once at the highest mowing height, and
then once more at the required height.
Check that the blade is mounted
ƒ
correctly.
Replace the blades with new ones.
