CHECKING THE MOTOR OIL
Before riding out with the mower, always check the oil level in the engine. Open the hood and check the oil
level using the dipstick. Add oil if necessary.
More information about checking the oil in the engine is provided in

HYDRAULIC TRANSMISSION BYPASS INSPECTION
Before riding out with the mower, always check that the hydraulic pump bypass bolt is tightened. The pump is
accessible after opening the hood. The bolt is located on the left side of the pump.
The bypass function and the setting of its bolt is described in detail in
MOWER / PUSHING THE MOWER.
INSPECTION OF CABLES AND BOLT CONNECTIONS
Visually inspect the condition of the electrical cables, particularly the power cables going to the battery. Have
any damaged cables replaced by an expert.
Manually check the firm tightness of all nuts, pins and bolts, particularly the mounting bolts of the mowing blades
so that the mower always remains in a safe operating condition. For safety reasons, always immediately replace
any worn out or damaged parts.
INSPECTION OF THE WORKING ORDER OF SAFETY ELEMENTS
Before every use, check the working order of the safety elements. Perform the inspection with the engine turned
off. Inspect:
Switch under the seat: When you turn the key to the ON position and are not sitting on the seat, the

appear and several seconds later an acoustic signal indicating discharging of the battery will be sounded.
Grass catcher presence switch: When you turn the key to the LIGHTS or ON position and then turn on the
ƒ
mowing deck

Full grass catcher switch: When you turn the key to the LIGHTS or ON position with the mowing deck turned
ƒ
on and then manually push the flap of the sensor inside the grass catcher, the full grass catcher acoustic
signal MUST be sounded.
Hood switch: If you open the hood and turn the key to the ON position, the symbol

INSPECTION OF WORKING ORDER OF BRAKES
Before using the mower, check the working order of the brakes:
Push down the brake pedal, pull out the parking brake draw bar upwards and release the pedal.

Open the hood and release the bypass bolt on the pump (
ƒ
THE MOWER).
Try to push the mower forward. If the rear wheels rotate, then the brakes need to be serviced. Contact an
ƒ
authorised service centre to have them adjusted.
CLEANING THE FILTERS
Before driving the mower, check the condition of the air filter and dust filters according to
