BRAKES
Brakes are an important safety element of the mower and so proceed with the utmost care during their
maintenance. If you are uncertain about their maintenance process, please contact an authorised
service centre.
The mower is fitted with rear drum brakes, which are encapsulated
against the ingression of dirt. To replace the brake pads, please contact
an authorised service centre.
Standard tensioning of the brakes is performed using cables
ƒ
(Bowdens) on the brake pedal.
In the event that it is not possible to tension the Bowden, it is
ƒ
necessary to readjust the brake key located inside the brake drum.
It is accessible after removing the rubber covers on the inner side
of the drum (at the bottom). Behind the hole there is a spider, which
well pulled up tightens the brakes. Prior to this, it is necessary to
first loosen the Bowdens of the brake to a minimum.
HYDRAULIC PARTS OF THE MOWER
PERFORMING A LEAK TEST ON THE HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT
Visually check the hydraulic circuit for oil leaks, namely the locations where fittings are connected to the
ƒ
hydraulic elements. In the event that oil is leaking even after tightening the screw coupling, inform you
vendor or service centre.
CHECKING THE OIL LEVEL IN THE HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT
For the reliable operation of the hydraulic circuit it is necessary to maintain the correct oil level. The equalisation
oil tank is located underneath the mudguard on the right hand side of the mower. A part of the tank cap is an
oil level dipstick:
Screw open the tank cap and check that the oil level is between the two marks on the dipstick. If not, fill up
ƒ
with the required amount of oil. Oil type
After checking and filling up, always wipe dry the area around the tank cap and the tank cap itself.
ƒ
REPLACING THE OIL AND BLEEDING AIR FROM THE HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT
Prepare a suitable oil collection container with a capacity of at least 10 litres.
ƒ
Open the hood.
ƒ
Screw off the tank cap (1).
ƒ
Disconnect the return hose (2) from the hydraulic pump and insert it into the prepared container
ƒ
and allow all the oil to drain out (approx. 9 litres).
When the oil is drained, screw the hose back on.
ƒ
Pour new oil into the tank.
ƒ
Unscrew the suction hose (3) and check that the oil has filled it completely and screw it back on
ƒ
to the pump.
After filling up the oil, always wipe dry the area around the tank opening and the tank cap itself. Likewise,
also wipe the parts of the mower that were stained with oil when the hoses were disconnected and
connected.
Dispose of used oil according to the relevant local regulations for environmental protection in your
country.
