MOWING DECK
CHECKING AND BALANCING THE MOWING DECK
To achieve the best mowing results, the front side of the mowing deck must be approximately 5 mm lower than
the rear side and concurrently the left and right side of the mowing deck must be set level.

Inspection and adjustment procedure:
Park the mower on an even surface.
ƒ
Turn off the engine, engage the parking brake and secure the entire mower against movement (e.g. using
ƒ
a suitable wedge, etc.).
Turn the ignition key to the LIGHTS position and engage the mowing deck (the engine is not running), set
ƒ
the mowing deck height adjustment knob to position 1 and pull the key out of the ignition.
Check the air pressure in the tyres and if there is a difference, inflate them.
ƒ
Remove the side plastic covers at the floor by removing the quick coupling pins. Slide a screwdriver
ƒ
into the pin groove and turn it by 90°. Then take the covers off the mower.
All the wheels of the mowing deck should be in even contact with the ground. The difference between
ƒ
the front and the rear wheels is 5 mm.
In the event that the wheels are not in even contact with the ground, loosen bolts (1), set the
ƒ
mowing deck to the correct height and tighten the nuts. Tightening torque

UNIVERSAL-SHAFT DRIVE BELT
Because of the demands placed on it, the tension of the shaft drive V-belt (1) declines over time and it is
necessary to tension this belt. The belt is tensioned using bolts with an eye and a spring.
Turn off the engine, pull the key out of the ignition and engage the parking brake.

Open the hood.

Using a suitable wrench, loosen the lock nut (2) and turn nut (3) so that spring (4) is tensioned.

MOWING BLADE DRIVE BELTS
Because of the demands placed on them, the tension on the pair of mowing blade drive belts (1) declines over
time and it is necessary to tension these belts. The belts are tensioned using bolts with an eye and a spring.
Turn off the engine and engage the parking brake.

Turn the ignition key to the LIGHTS position and engage the mowing deck (the engine is not running), set
ƒ
the mowing deck height adjustment knob to position 1.
After the mowing deck moves to position 1, turn the key to the OFF position and pull the key out of the ignition.
ƒ
Using a suitable wrench, loosen the lock nut (2) and turn nut (3) so that spring (4) is tensioned.

ATTENTION: The belts must be replaced together as pairs.
Every 50 hours of operation, e.g. after a strong impact of the mowing
deck with an obstacle or when the cut is no longer clean.
